Ground Breaking Ceremony

What a wonderful celebration at church today. It was the official ground breaking ceremony for our new building. The first phase is a new sanctuary that will be added onto our current building. The new sanctuary will seat 300 and our current sanctuary will become a fellowship/youth/multipurpose room with some extra classrooms. It is very exciting to be a part of a growing, Christ filled church.

Between Sunday school and our 11:00am service we held a special service outdoors in the location of where the new sanctuary is to be built. There were songs, a mini sermon, a special offering and even a confetti "explosion".

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 1Corinthians 3:6-7
