Valentine's Fondue

As you know I LOVE family traditions and our Valentine's Day fondue is no exception.  Even if we have to do it a week later due to sickness and other things.  :)  It is an eagerly anticipated evening for all  of us!  I think for this post the pictures can speak for themselves!  LOL

Fun stuff with Aunt Jutem

So Jutem and the kids came and stayed with us for just over 2 weeks.  It was the longest they have ever stayed and we all had a great time.  She was originally coming out for Jay's party and then the trip for Las Vegas came up so she decided to stay the whole time.  Unfortunately almost each of the kids took a turn being sick at least once during the two weeks.  But we all still had a lot of fun!  Here are a bunch of pictures from different activities:

                                                 The two crazies!
Jutem treated us to a pedicure!!  It was wonderful!
I missed the Renaissance Festival again this year. Jadon was sick this time and so was Jay and I.  So Jutem took the rest of the kids and met up with the Rogers family they all had a great day!

Joshua almost tossed that turkey leg after this.  :)

One night while we were in Vegas, Aunt Jutem baked them ice cream cup cakes.

                                               Crazy Jadon!

We were so thankful to know that our kids were in good hands while we were away!

Saladmaster and Las Vegas

Jay and I went to the annual Saladmaster convention in Las Vegas.  I don't care for Las Vegas but the convention was great!  As you can see from the top picture one of the great partnerships of Saladmaster is now with Taste of Home.  Saladmaster will be their offical cookware at all their cooking schools.
Another great suprise was Cathy Silvers was there.  (She used to play Jenny Picalo on Happy Days.)  She has her own Healthy Living Show and she is a 3rd generation Saladmaster owner and is now a rep.

There were some great speakers and so much info shared.  I just wish that everyone knew about Saladmaster.  So many people spend their hard earned money buying organic (which they should) and trying to stay away from toxins, but then they come home and cook their food in teflon or aluminum pans.  It just doesn't make sense but most of it is because they just don't know any better.  I have several friends that really need to see a dinner and become educated.  Saladmaster is an incredible company with an incredible product!!!

We did enjoy our time and it was a nice get away.  We celebrated our anniversary together while here.  17 years married to the love of my life!!!

It was a great trip with lots of info shared and one of the best highlights is that my honey won a braiser pan for us!  I have been wanting one and can't wait to start using it!

Valentine's Day

As you know in our house I love holidays and the chance to celebrate with my family.  Valentine's Day is no exception.  We take the time to celebrate our love for one another and of course Christ's love for us!  We usually celebrate with our chocolate fondue night but with everyone having taken turns being sick we decided it was better to postpone it for awhile.  Jutem and I did however take all the kids except for Joshua and Alexa (they were sick) roller skating.

It's not the best picture but we put together a bouquet of the kids and when they woke up in the morning they each got a special treat and then we were off to the roller rink.

WOW!  I have not been on roller skates since Jr. high but I must say I did pretty good and it was a lot of fun!

These are great inventions.  They are called skate mates and they were perfect for helping the kids!

What a great morning!  We are definitely going to have to go skating more!
