A Busy Weekend

This weekend was pretty busy. Friday afternoon I dragged out all the craft stuff from the pantry and was trying to organize it. Jay came home Friday night, looked at the mess and just laughed at me!!! Anastasia spent the night at her cousin's for a suprise birthday party. Anastasia made the birthday cake all by herself as part of the suprise.

Didn't she do a great job? Anastasia wants to start making and selling cakes for birthdays. She has got quite a talent for it.

We had to get up early Saturday morning and go get our co-op basket and then we came home and I tried to tackle the kitchen for about an hour. Then we left to go over to my sister's house for the birthday party. The kids got to go swimming so they were very excited. We finally got home around 5:00 and I didn't feel like doing anything I was so tired. We pretty much just hung out the rest of the evening not doing much and everyone went to bed early.

Sunday was a big day at church for Joshua. He got to move into the kindergarten class. Our church is growing but right now it just has one nursery for infants-4 year olds. Joshua doesn't turn 5 till September but I just felt it was time to move him up he is so ready and was getting bored in the nursery as one of the oldest and only boys. He was so excited and brought his Bible with him. He did great!!!! Then he even got to come sing with us in "big church" and go to children's church. He was feeling quite proud of himself. Savannah wanted to move up too but I told her I still needed her in the nursery to help with Alexa and then to watch the new baby when she goes in there. She felt big then and was good with staying in the nursery.

He was so excited!!!

After church we went and got some lunch and then had to go to the pet store (more stuff for the hermit crabs!!!) and then we went to Target. We again didn't get home till around 4:00. I rested a bit and then tackled the kitchen again and pretty much got it done. I love looking in my pantry now. Everything is in storage bins and not just shoved on the shelves. Yeah!!!

Aunt Brandy was sick and they couldn't make it to Savannah's party so when we went over there on Saturday they gave her her present. Savannah was so excited to have a scooter like Joshua now. Her's of course is princess and she won't leave it outback when she is done riding it she insists on bringing it in the house!!!!
